Kala Sasikumar

Mrs. Kala Sasikumar is a well known musician and an exponent of Bharatha Natyam and Mohiniyattam and is the Director of ‘Saradhi Academy of Art & Culture’ at Kilpauk. Her academy imparts extensive training in dance as well as music both classical and vocal. The academy imparts training in Carnatic as well as Western classical music.She has been running the school for the past eight years. Apart from running the academy, she is also involved in almost all the socio-cultural activities taking place in Chennai and is also involved with the activities of the Malayalee Club and Dakshina. Celebrities like Mr.Neelakandan Nair and Mrs Malathi Thottathil are her guru’s in Violin and Mrs Indira in Violin. Hailing from Kodungallur in Trichur district, she is married to Mr. Sasi Kumar (business) and the couple has two sons Dr Vivek and Mr Balakrishnan.
