Mr. N. Jayathilagan is a Partner of the film production company ‘Gayathri Pictures’ and has produced four films. He is the recipient of ‘Sree Narayana World Council Award’ in 1998 at New Jersi for Tamil Nadu. He came to Chennai in1962 and joined the Indian Railways in 1963 and worked with it for two years before starting own business (distribution of Spices and Finance) in 1965. Jayathilagan started a financing company – ‘Gayathri Finance’ in 1975 as its Managing Director and in 1976 started Furniture business also. He started the film production company – ‘Gayathri Pictures’ in 1982 on Partnership basis.  He hails from Kadakkal in Kollam district. He is married to Mrs. Swarna Latha (Director of the Company) and the couple has two sons – Dr. Raj Thilag, MBBS and Prem Thilag, BE and one daughter – Ms. Rajeswari, M.A., M.phil. Jayathilagan is the President of Veppery Sree Narayana Mandiram.
