Vinod Kaimal is owner of Veneers and More, stockists of plywood, established in 2003. He started his career with Madras Caps and Container and has later worked with Jackson Veneers & Panels (P) Ltd. as well as Varma and Varma before launching his own firm. His parents belong to Pulluvazhi, Ernakulam. He had his studies from Kerala Vidhyalayam, Poonamalle and Guru Nanak College. He is married to Mrs. Sangeetha Vinod and has one son V. Varun and a daughter V. Varsha.
