Mr. K. Unnie is proprietor of Sai Electrcals, a company specialised in electronics servicing. He starte his career S.R. Electricals. Later he went to the Gulf and worked there for 5 years and on his return in 1999 set up his own industry. Hailing from Avaneeswaram, Kollam, he had his education from M.M. High School, Vilakkudi and S.N. College, Punalur and secured his Diploma in Electrical Engineering from I.E.T, Chennai. He is social worker and is Vice-President of U.C.C, Padi. His wife is Mrs. Ashalatha and he has a son Aromal Unni and a daughter Ammu Unni.
