Mr. N.P.K. Sankaran Nambiar is Managing Director of SAS Autocom Engineers India (P) Ltd. An industrialist with a reputation par excellence, he has been honoured with numerous awards. He is recipient of Rashtriya Rattan Award -2001, Indira Gandhi Sadbhavana Award -2001 for outstanding indvidual achievements for distinguished service to nation and International Gold Star Millennium Award – 2003 – Nepal from Global Service Council, New Delhi. He has also received the Rashtriya Seva Puraskar – 2003 from National Awareness Forum and Silver Award from Ashok Leyland for good performance for quality, delivery and price in 2003-04. Hailing from Perambra, Kozhikode, he had his education from Perambra High School and St. Vincent Industrial Centre, Kozhikode. He is married to Mrs. Ambujam S. Nambiar and he has two children – Shamraj and Mrs. Shamini.
