V K Izudheen is presently Managing Director of ‘Hotel De Shady’. He is also a social activist and a former Government nominated Presidency Magistrate Cum Justice of Peace in Chennai for 17 years. He was active in the Malabar Muslim Association from 1945 and held various responsible positions including General Gecretary. He hails from Orumanayur, Chavakkad in Trichur District. He returned to Chennai after discharge from the army in 1945 and resumed the grocery business. He is married to PKM Hafza and the couple has seven children – Hazeena, Nazeema, Sharafuddeen, Sakeena, Saleema, Mumthaz and Shameena, all married.
