She has secured inter-school award in athletics and was college-level basket ball champion. Mrs. Menon serves as Rotary Club Director, Vocational Service, Ambattur. She is the former President of Air Cargo Club of Madras. Married to business personality Mr M.K. Menon, the couple has a married daughter Kavitha.
