Dr. V.V. Bashi

Dr. V.V. Bashi is Chairman of Thorasic Cardio Vascular Department at ‘Miot Hospital’, Manappakkam, Chennai. He has undergone training in Australia and France under famous cardiac surgeons. He is a pioneer in the field of surgery who broke all records of the history of medical science. He has conducted about 6000 surgeries so far and attributes his success rate of 99.5% to the mercy of God. Hailing from Kerala, he is married to Mrs. Sethu Lakshmi (D/o Dr.C.K. Ramachandran, formerly head of the Dept.of Medicine at Medical College, Kozhikode) and the couple has two daughters, Gayatri and Gopika. After the completion of MBBS, he worked for sometime in Medical Centre, Velloore. Later he shifted to Chennai where he served at Medical Mission and Malar Hospital respectively before joining ‘Miot Hospital’..
