Dr.V. Ajithkumar

Dr.V. Ajithkumar is an eminent Ayurvedic Physician and Senior Manager (Medical) with multi dimensional roles in Clinical, R & D, Quality Control & Pharmaceutical Manufacturing with Cholayil Group of Companies. The Independent Medicinal Practitioners Association of India awarded him with the Fellowship (F.C.I.P) for excellence in Clinical Management of Joint Disorders in 1996. He hails from Perumbavoor in Ernakulam District. He is married to Mrs. Nirmala Devi. He has been working with Cholayil Group of Companies since 1996. His role as Senior Manager (Medical), include Chief Ayurvedic Consultant for Cholayil Sanjeevanam Ayurvedic Clinics, Senior Medical Officer heading the Chain of Ayurvedic Hospitals & Clinics under ‘Cholayil Sanjeevanam’, heading the training of junior doctors, ayurvedic therapists & nursing staff of the group. He is responsible for the development of Q.A. systems and standard operation procedures related to clinical / treatment procedures, products & services. He is the approving authority of all herbal formulations under development in all the pharmaceutical / cosmetic products of the group. He is also member- in house fragrance panel trained by the experts of International Flavours & Fragrances (I.F.F) – to approve all flavours & fragrances used in the products of the group. Dr. Ajith was Chairman – Scientific Programme Committee of ‘International Congress Ayurveda 2000’ in Chennai, Chairman – Scientific Committee of ‘National Ayurveda Congress’ in 2001 at Bangalore and 2002 at Hyderabad. He was member – sub committee to advice on marketing strategy at the time of formation of ‘State Medicinal Plant Board’, Government of Kerala.
