Dakshinamurthi

Mr. Dakshinamurthi is a famous music director, popularly known as ‘Sangeetha Paramacharya’ in Malayalam film industry. He is recipient of a number of awards from various organisations. Recently, he bagged Jesudas Award for 2008, instituted by Swaralaya. He is also recipient of ‘Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy Award’ in 1961. He hails from Alleppey. Mrs. D. Kalyani Ammal is his wife and they have three children, all married. They are Venkateswaran, Vijaya Anand and Gomathisree Ramasubramaniam.
