Mr. P.G.Chacko, specialized in Judicial and Tax Laws is Judicial Member of Customs, Excise & Service Tax Appellate Tribunal, South Zonal Bench, Chennai. Before assuming office in Chennai, he served the Department in New Delhi. Hailing from Ernakulam, he is married to Mrs. Susamma and the couple has two children, Reuben George Chacko and Reeba Elizabeth Chacko. Mr. Chacko is recipient of National Merit Scholarship from Govt.of India, Smt. Karthika Nair Memorial Scholarship from G.P.Nair Charitable Trust and Dr. A.T.Markose Memorial Trophy from Govt. Law College, Ernakulam during various stages of his education. He worked in New Delhi before getting posted in Chennai. He served as Chemist, Central Revenue Chemical Service (CRCS), Ministry of Finance, Govt.of India during 1976 – 84. From 1984 to 1999 he practiced as an Advocate in the High Court of Kerala.
