Mr T R Bhaskaran is a major player in Appalam business in Chennai. He started own appalam company, Manikandan Co. in 1960 and Radhas Appalam in 1969 and established Radha Food Products in 1993 and subsequently set up RPR Exports Pvt.Ltd. Radha food Products and RPR exports are ISO Certified Companies. He hails from Chovannur (Kumaramkulam) in Trichur district. He used to act in dramas during his school days. He played football and hockey. He is involved in charity services and gives cash awards to students in Kancheepuram area. He is also member of Vepery Malayalee Association, SNS Chennai and SNS Seva Ashramam, Kancheepuram. He is married to Radha Bhaskaran , one of he Directors of the Company and has two sons, B Rajesh Kumar,MA (MD cum CEO) and B Ranjith,MBA (EX.Dir. of the Co.) and Mrs Priya Kasinath settled in Bangalore.
