Mr. K. Balakrishnan, retired from Dunlop Company, hails from Kizhakkumpattukara, Trichur. He did his schooling from Paravattani High School in Trichur. This active Communist is interested in reading and music. He is married to Mrs. Valsala Balakrishnan and is the father of five well-settled children. His two sons are Sukhadev and Satyadev while his daughters are Leena Chandrasekharan, Bharathi Venkateshan and Ajitha Sukumaran.
