Alex Jacob

Mr. Alex Jacob is a world famous building structural engineer who owns United Consultants in Chennai. He hails from Mavelikkara. He earned his Engineering degree from the University of Mysore with first rank and did his M.Tech from I.I.T, Madras. His work has been much appreciated world wide and he has received many awards from American Government Institutions. From the American Concrete Institute he has received an award for “Outstanding Concrete Structures of India” and has also won award for the design of Cochin International Airport along with American architects H.O.K. He is married to Mrs. Ammini Jacob. They have two daughters Dr. Mrs. Priya Issac Thomas, a dental surgeon working in Dubai and Mrs.Preetha, who works as an architect in Chennai.
