Mr. V.M. Thomas is one of the Joint Managing Directors of Johnson Lifts (P) Ltd. He started his career with HAL, Bangalore as Management Trainee in 1973. After putting in 8 years of service with this firm he went on to join T.I Gerauf and in 1984 took up the job in his present company. Hailing fom Mallapally, Pathanamthittah, he had his education from CMS High School, Nedumgadappully, S.B. College, Changanassery. He later studied at I.I.T, Madras and I.I.M, Ahmedabad. An active social worker, he is Chairman of YMCA, Kilpauk and also Chairman of Lions Club International of Egmore, Chennai. He is married to Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas and has two children – Mathew V. Thomas and Mrs. Anna.
