Thomas K Varghese

Mr. Thomas K Varghese is proprietor of RME, a ship-preparing company established in 1982. In the year 2005, he received ‘Felicitation Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Shipping Industry’ from the Government of India. He had worked with Scindia Steam Navigation Company Ltd. in Mumbai, Ben Shipping Company in Singapore, Gulf East Marine in London and Premnath Diesels before launching his own firm in 1982. Hailing from Puthangadi, Kottayam, he had his studies from St. Thomas High School, Kuzhillam and Directorate of Marine Engineering Training College, Mumbai. He is married to Mrs. Santhi Varghese and has a son Praveen Varghese.
