Chennai based, Sneha Enterprises is among the reputed companies in the business of real estate, land development, flat promotion and earth moving projects. Mr P. Raju, the MD of Sneha Enterprises started the company in 1998. He came to Chennai in 1978 and later joined Pichimuttom Eng. Co. Pvt. Ltd. In 1994 he joined as the branch manager of Sree Guruvayoorappan Chit Fund. Later he married the daughter of Mr. K Balan, the Managing Director of Sree Guruvayoorappan Chit Fund. In 1998 he started his own companyunder the name Sneha Enterprises.

The company implements its projects in collaboration with the state government and its agencies like the corporation and municipality, and in the past ten years it has been able to attract a good clientele due to its distinctive services. The company soon gained the confidence of the government, people and other agencies.

Sneha Enterprises’ first project was in collaboration with the Chennai Metropolitan Co-operative Housing Society (CMCHS) at Reterdon Road, Verpery in Purusavakkam. The project intended to develop 42 acres of land located at Adyalampet Village in Ambattur taluk close to P. P. H Road in Maduravoil Phase I and II. The land was developed within the specified time with a total of 530 ready to use plots. The project was not only ready on time in 2002, but also provided with facilities like tar road and streetlights. The success of this maiden project was a great achievement for the company in its prime years. Following the success of its first project, the CMCHS entrusted Sneha Enterprises with yet another mission. The Society authorised the company with the project for the development of 53 acres of its land located at Ayanambakkam in Ambattur taluk and developed the land well in time in 2006.
Following the timely and successful completion of this big project, the Society decided to entrust its other projects also with full confidence on Sneha Enterprises. Hence, the responsibility of implementation of most projects of developing the land at various locations in Chennai came on to the company.

After a huge success in Chennai, Mr Raju began to spread his work on the outskirts of Chennai and at other locations like Kancheepuran and Chengalpet.

The success of Sneha Enterprises is not only limited to projects of its clients, but also those undertaken by the company itself. While undertaking client projects, Mr Raju also floated his own projects alongside. In the year 2005, his company began construction work of 116 executive style apartments namely ‘Metro Castles’ at Mogapair village in Ambattur taluk, which he completed in 2007 well in time adding brownie points to his achievements.

Mr Raju’s another venture ‘Peace Builders’ developed in 7 grounds of land at Mogapair village and another prominent project near Maduravoil on 2.08 acres of land which are the on going projects in which 184 luxury apartments with a swimming pool are planned. Other projects of Sneha Enterprises include a joint venture with Madras City Co-operative Building Society located at Purusawalkam, Vellalar Street. This project comprised a development of 24 acres of land in Athipet Village near Ayanambakkam in Ambattur taluk. Another project of 20 acres of land is developing at Avadi in Poonamalli Taluk.

In these 14 years, Sneha Enterprises has established itself as one of its kind in the field of real estate, land development, flat promotion and earth moving business in the capital of Tamil Nadu and perhaps, no other such company in the state might have attained a tremendous growth like this.

The secret behind Mr Raju’s successful company is undoubtedly the uncompromising, principle of commitment, superior quality of work, implementation of the projects and completing them within a stipulated time frame.

Meanwhile, Mr Raju remains unaffected by all the success and continues to be a man of simplicity, who gives all credits to his loyal staff and team who are like a family in Sneha Enterprises. Meanwhile, Mr Raju continues to silently and diligently serve for the cause of people. In all his honesty and above all his humanitarian, he extends maximum help to the most deserving and the needy sections of the society.

However, despite having a hectic schedule, Mr Raju is always on the go, this businessman not only has the time for his business ventures, but is also a member in many associations. To name a few, he is the Chairman of the Federation of All India Marunadan Malayali Associations in Tamil Nadu (FAIMA), President of SNDP Yogam, Padi and Chairman Chennai Sauhridavedi. Apart from these, Mr Raju in all his humbleness took the initiative to support and sponsor for the second time the Malayalam Media’s Chennai Malayali Directory.

On the personal front, Mr Raju is the son of Mr MK Prabhakaran (Businessman), Mundu Tharayil House and Mrs Devaki Amma. He married B. Shobha and the couple has a daughter Sneha after whom the company has been named. Sneha, an MBA is married to Sreerag and lives in Kerala. She is also one of the Directors in the company.
