Ninan Thariyan

Mr. Ninan Thariyan is Asst. Vice President, Bennet, Colemen & Company Ltd., publishers of the world’s largest selling English Newspaper, The Times of India. He has over 22 years of experience with the Times group. The key highlight of his career with The Times Group is, after years of tireless effort, he successfully launched the Times of India – Chennai edition in April 2008. Widely travelled, Mr. Ninan has represented The Times of India Group at various prestigious forums across India and abroad. On completing his Bachelors Degree in Economics from Union Christian College, Alwaye, he pursued a Post – Graduate diploma in Social Science from the Rajagiri Institute of Social Science, followed by MA (social work) from the Madras School of Social Work. After a one-year stint at the Bajaj Institute of Management, he went on to complete his MBA at the Alaska Pacific University in the United States of America. While in the US, he worked with the Los Angeles Times for a year.He is a visiting faculty at Loyola Institute of Business Administration, Symbiosis Group of Institutions, Pune, Rajagiri School of Management and the Mudra Institute of Communications. His is the son of Late V. Rev. Fr. K.V. Thariyan, Cor – Episcopa. His wife is Mrs Meena Ninan and he has two children – Susan Ninan and Sarah Ninan.
