Mr.N. Balaganga

Mr.N. Balaganga is a leader of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIDMK) and is presently Member of the Rajya Sabha. He also holds the post of election wing Joint Secretary of AIDMK. Hailing from Mannarkadu, Olavacode in Palakkad District, he married Mrs. Chandrika Balaganga and the couple has a son N.B. Prasanna and daughter Swapna Mahendra. Mr. Balaganga was nominated as Chairman, Tamilnadu Housing Board in 1993 and continued in that position till 1996. He was nominated to head the Tamilnadu Slum Clearance Board as Chairman in 2001 and held the position till 2006. He has got his own hotel business ‘Cheers Restaurant’ at Egmore, now being run by his son N.B. Prasanna..
