Mr. K. Karunakaran worked in Gokulam Chits and Funds as the Asst.General Manager for 17 years and later started his own Chit-fund business. He is also a social worker. He is from Kariyadu, Kannur District. Mrs. Malathy is his wife and the couple has two sons, Prem Nidhi and Prem Jwala and a daughter, Sneha Surabhi.
