He is married to Mrs.Dorathy Jacob and the couple has a son Anup T. Jacob and daughter Roshini Jacob. Jacob Thomas was instrumental in developing Chemical pumps for Heavy Vehicles Factory, Avadi and got their approval. His company has designed pp self-priming mono block pumps which needs no foot valve or priming.
