Dr. Shashi

Dr. Shashi is a well-known businessman who owns Indarma Prime Industries Ltd., a Dutch collaboration company. The firm was established in 1986 and was called Hinducth Overseas Ltd. and got the name change in 1986. Dr. Shashi has wide ranging business interests including leather garment exports, hotels and property development. He came to Chennai in 1986, to settle and look after his business in the city. A medical practitioner by profession, he started his career with Kerala Health Service, Thiruvananthapuram as duty doctor. In 1982, he started working on his hotel project and in 1985 established Hotel Horizon. He also joined Empee Group as Director in 1986. Hailing from Varkala, Thiruvananthapuram, he had his education from Raffiles Institution, Singapore; Loyola College, Madras and Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. A devoted social worker, he is the Trustee of CTMA. His wife is (Mrs.) Dr. Padmaja and he has one son Ashwin and a daughter Arati.
