Mr. B. Bimal Roy who is the Chennai Bureau Chief, of Asiant TV is a Bachelor of Law degree holder as well as a Post Graduate in Journalism. He is hailing from Karimthattuva, Kerala. He is an alumni of the T.K.M Arts college, Kollam where he got his Degree and Govt. Law College, Shillong. Soon after the completion of his education he got employment with Doordarshan, Shillong on contract basis which he continued for the next five years. He also had a brief stint as the Bureau Chief, North-East of the Zee TV before coming to Chennai to join Kairali TV as Bureau Chief in the year 2000. He is specialized in Legal and Crime reporting. He is fond of reading books and as a young student he was the best footballer in school. An active social worker he is a member of Kodambakkam Malayalee Club. He is married to Mrs. Veena Bimal V.K.
